Ponits to be noted:

1) Total cost does not includes cost of land.
2) If irrigation system is newly introduced the cost should be added to total cost.
3) The yield in coastal talukas is lesser.
4) According to the statistics of C.P.C.R.I. Vitla, average yield per acre is 8 quintals. For this average Production, cost of production for white is Rs.14,800 per Qnt and Rs.21,200 per Qnt for red variety.
