Rice mill section has the mill with capacity of 2 MT/hour (approximately 35 to 40 paddy bags per hour) and does the activity of paddy milling and storage activities.
Procedure:
Paddy comes and the same day gets milled (Avaka Milling) or the paddy arrived gets stored in the godowns(Avaka Shilku) and then gets milled. Likewise the one to be get milled will be sent for milling and the shilku paddy will be sent ot godowns. At the time of arrival, as per instructions of the farmer, the details of owners name, address, number of bags, polish category, if shilku, then the godown number in which to be stored, line, nittu etc are registered in either Avaka Milling Register or Avaka Shilku register respectively. In case of milling, the details will be written on the bags and in case of shilku then the approximate weight, and the details mentioned above will be written on the card and a receipt will be issued. The paddy so stored if either fully or partly being milled, then in the shilku register, the number of milling bags, remaining bags, type of polish, godown number, line, nittu, the number of bags given back, etc are entered and milling details and the bags left to be milled are written on the card and will be issued to the owner.
